Ozzy Osbourne has posted a photo from a studio in LA where he is currently recording vocals for the new Black Sabbath album (we still get a boner just from writing those last four words).

“We’ve written 15 songs and we’ve played them all,” commented guitarist Tony Iommi in a recent interview. But now, at the moment, we’re recording them. We recorded them at my house first, in England, just as demos, but now we’re doing them for real. So we’re about six tracks in now, at the moment.”

Sabbath played a triumphant homecoming show in Birmingham last year as well as closing a stunningDownload 2012, and have confirmed shows in Australia and Japan so far for 2013. The new album – produced by perennial Top Ten Bears In Metal inductee Rick Rubin – should see a release later this year. As it stands, the album will still not feature any contribution from drummer Bill Ward, who decided to sit out the reunion amidst contractual issues.

Your notion is outstanding; the problem is something which you can find not enough individuals are speaking intelligently about. We are very pleased that I came across this in my search for some thing regarding this.
